Diane Rodich Sales & Training

About Diane

Diane grew up in Michigan and began riding at the age of 14. She competed in western, english, dressage and jumping in 4-H and local horseshows. She gave lessons and trained various horses until she was 22 years old, when she decided to focus on dressage. Her desire was to learn everything she could about the sport.

In order to improve her riding and gain a solid training foundation, Diane spent many years working for and training extensively with various FEI trainers throughout the United States and Europe. In 2006, she took several of her horses to Germany and spent the entire summer riding with olympic coach Conrad Schumacher. She recevied daily coaching and instruction from Schumacher, and gained valuable knowledge about his training system, which she has incorporated into her own.

In 2002, shortly after relocating to Ringoes, New Jersey, Diane began importing and selling dressage horses. Diane enjoyed helping people find their future equine partner, and she has since developed a wide range of valuable contacts Europe who regularly help her find and import horses to sell. Her contacts also help her locate the right horse for a particular rider.

In 2008, Diane relocated to Paard Hill Farms in Shelter Island, New York, where she currently teaches and trains various horses and students. She continues to regularly import dressage horses for sale, and makes regular trips to Europe to search for new prospects. During the winter months, Diane travels to Wellington, Florida where she continues her teaching, training and sales business.

Diane has competed through the FEI levels of dressage with various horses, and has received her USDF bronze and silver medals. She is a Certified Instructor for the United States Dressage Federation and the American Riding Instructor Association.
